We let Yankee and Sophie play with them as well. Then we took them on a walk to the orchard. The trip is not long for me, but it is a adventure for puppies this size. They walked across the stone path through the arbor. They all followed so well, it was so cute. Rusty was so funny, he was the last one and wasn't sure if he wanted to cross the stones....but he decided to go for it!! He didnt hesitate on the way back. They got to play in the strawberry patch and crash for a nap under the trampoline. I let Sophie come out and they all followed he back to the garage. This is such a good way to introduce them to new experiences. I was very happy with all their additudes.
All the puppy checks went wonderful....they are released to go to their new homes. I spent the day doing paper work and getting their folders ready. They will all get their baths and grooming done this week. It is 9:50 here right now so I am about to put them out for last potty of the day. I will be emailing to make all the puppy pick up arrangements....cant wait to see all of their families again. ]]>

Spring always seems to bring puppies around here. So I am always busy with all thinkg puppy related. We are at the moment looking at adding to our retriever family. We are probably going to move towards breeding more mini doodles and will keep a breeding pair of Goldens for those folks who are still looking for Golden Retrievers. I am getting older and hoping to slow down a bit. As always we will probably only have a litter of Goldens and a litter of Doodles each year.
I am excited because my husband has begun work on our very own puppy room. A special doggie condo of sorts for the moms and their babies to have their own area. This spring will bring the meeting of new families and the Easter season and so many thankful thoughts for all God has done!!. God bless all from Yankeeland!! ]]>
<![CDATA[Christmas Litter]]>Tue, 15 Nov 2011 21:34:19 -0600http://www.yankeelanddoodles.com/1/post/2011/11/christmas-litter.htmlThings are busy with the new litter. This is our only litter this fall and it has been a bit of an adventure. Nella is the mom of this litter and we didn't breed Ruby this fall. Ruby is the ultimate Mom....she wants Nella's puppies so bad. If Nella goes out to go potty....Ruby jumps right in the puppy box. We finally had to put a chain link kennel in our garage so that We could keep Ruby out of the puppy box. I got home today and Ruby had moved the entire kennel trying to get in. She make us laugh.... I would just give in a give her half of them if she had milk....it would make things a bit calmer if she had some puppies!!! ]]><![CDATA[Post Title.]]>Mon, 11 Jul 2011 10:36:32 -0600http://www.yankeelanddoodles.com/1/post/2011/07/post-title-click-and-type-to-edit12.htmlPicture

We may have all the puppies sold by the end of the weekend. So thankful for all the wonderful families. I feel like they have all found the most wonderful homes. Summer litters are fun the puppies get to do so much more exploring in the yard. I took photos of them yesterday playing in the yard, I could spend hours watching them.

The puppies are doing wonderful!! They went swimming yesterday and enjoyed it even if it was just venturing onto the steps!! Elizabeth and her brother came to visit the girls yesterday and picked Yellowgreen girl. It is a small world because we even realized we had mutual friends!! Well its only a week and a half and the puppies will hopefully all be leaving!!

It was a pleasure to Meet the Millers this past weekend, this is their darling daughter holding one of the boys!! I caught this moment of wonderful!! It was also great to Meet Mr Manny's parents to be Mike and Anne. Manny is our flat coated doodle boy and he will be going home with Mike and Anne the beginning of July.
It was so hot here today!! I put out the kiddie pool and let the puppies have a splash party. They all seemed to love it. Manny and his brother are busy learning their leash manners. Manny will be the only doodle puppy after his brother leaves for fishers this week. I will get some updated picks up soon. Stay cool!!!

All the doodles have gone to their new homes but two. One will be leaving next saturday to go to Fishers Indiana. The remaining flat coated boy is hoping to have a home soon. Now we have families comming to visit the retriever litter. It is fun to have families pick. Sometimes it works out that the puppies choose their families. It is amazing how some puppies respond to particular families. This is rewarding to say the least. I will spend the next week or so working with the remaining doodles boy on their leash manners and sleeping in crates at night. The Golder Retriever puppies are loving their adventures in the grass and sunshine....and oh yes.....they love their puppy food!! ]]><![CDATA[Post Title.]]>Mon, 30 May 2011 17:46:17 -0600http://www.yankeelanddoodles.com/1/post/2011/05/post-title-click-and-type-to-edit3.htmlWe have puppies leaving.
